I paid for a 3-month subscription on June 6, 2025, to avoid my card being charged again after the 3 months run out. I went in and canceled the recurring subscription in the Google Play Store, which should have not deactivated my Zoosk subscription but rather just the recurring charge.
However, then I received an email from Zoosk that said my account was deactivated. I attempted to log into my Google account because that is how I log into Zoosk, but failed, so I changed the password. When I finally got back into my email and logged into Zoosk, my photos were all gone, so I attempted to upload them again, which failed several times. Then, once I was successful, the account was reactivated, but my subscription benefits were not.
I still have a lot of time left within my subscription as it was paid through September 6, 2025. Furthermore, I have reached out multiple times to their email without any communication back or attempts to resolve the issue; instead, they have sent me an email asking me to give them more money for another subscription at a 30% discount and another email to approve my photos. In the image below, you will see that on the same day I removed my card for a recurring subscription through the Google Play Store, Zoosk emailed me saying my account was deactivated. Deactivated is entirely through Zoosk, not through Google Play, and canceling the recurring subscription does not trigger a deactivation, so what the heck?
They also do not have any other way to contact them, so just know that you are actually stuck! By the way, in my attachment, you have what looks like responses back to me in the threads, but no, that is all me replying to their automated email to me; not once have they responded to me.

User's recommendation: Be very careful paying for this service! This site also makes people "think" you are viewing them when you are just looking at who viewed you, this leads to people getting upset because they think you are just looking at their profile and just not interacting with them.
No answers and asked for more money when trying to contact them twice

They renewed my account and I don't want that - but there is no place I can call
My account was renewed and I did not want that. I am not happy with this site.
BUT NOW THE PHONE THAT SHOWS ON THE INTERNET DOES NOT WORK - IS NOT IN SERVICE.

I had an account less than an hour, hadn't had contact with any body, and then had an error message that read "your account has been blocked by a Zoosk administrator." Doesn't seem especially reliable to me.
User's recommendation: Try elsewhere - I'm on/have been on plenty of other sites that don't do stuff like this, and have far less behind paywalls too.
They say there's a way to contact this company but there is no way to contact this company there is nothing on their site that helps you to contact them when there's a problem
This site will not let me send messages I paid the full amount I should be able to send messages every time I go to send messages to other people it diverts me to something else that I did not want to be diverted to

I bought a new iPhone trading in my old one. All the information was transferred to the new phone, but when I tried to sign into my Zoosk account.
Im told that the password and user ID are not correct. It is the same information I have used for several years. In the meantime, Im losing days on my subscription because I dont have access to my service.
I tried a phone number 1-88*-***-**** Its supposed to be a support line.
The line has been disconnected. I am so disappointed in Zoosk.!!!

Verified ReviewerI’ve been charged twice and I cannot see anybody’s profile every time. I do try to click on somebody’s profile. It says I’m out of coins. I have not even touched any of my coins I want my money back
You charge me two weeks. I have not been able to use any of my coins.
I am not able to look at anybody's profile, so I need you to see that my account is inactive, and I'm sure you can tell that I haven't used any of my coins.
So you can pay me back $19.95, and then the next week of the 19th, which is $21.74.

Zoosk continues to take money from my bank account after I cancelled my subscription. Their phone number is useless, their "self help" is helpless, if you want additional help they send you to scam websites that are useless and yet make you pay to use them. Zoosk creates the problems and then makes you pay to attempt to solve them Now I'm forced to cancel my debit card just to get rid of the blood suckers

Sorry, buyt that's up for debate. If they choose not to spend money responding to customers who choose to use an unaffiliated 3rd party platform to complain, instead of contacting them directly, if pretty defendable in my opinion.
There are other websites this one requiring monies to make "official responses", so I guess every company should have to run out and join all of these platforms. Yeah, no.
Well you need to do something and do it better. OP posted proof of contacting Zoosk multiple times by email before posting here.

Why would you assume I work at Zoosk? This is a PUBLIC website that attracts over 3 million visitors per month.
Two days ago, I was accused of being a food delivery driver for a service in Canada and two weeks ago, I was accused of being an assistant manager of a hotel in Jamaica. WOW!
I'm good! If I had a dollar for every m0r0n that accused me of working for whatever company they were complaining about, I'd have enough to buy a couple luxury vehicles and a penthouse apartment in NYC.

They did not respond. There is nothing to debate.
What is also not debatable is the fact that you use cost as an excuse to not officially join a third party complaint site, but are arduously (and anonymously, still no position title or name) debating me multiple times that you just want to help a client stop paying you. YEAH, NO.
You both have issues where you think a company HAS to pay money to join a foreign complaint site located in Eastern Europe. If this Zoosk is not responding to direct contact, then figure something else out.
What you don't do is act like a donkey's behind when someone tries to be helpful and accuse them of working for the company (I also work for Dave & Buster's somewhere in California and various hotels both in and out of the U.S., according to other whiners here). If I updated my resume to include all these fantasy jobs, I'd have a 50 page resume at a minimum!
To the person posting about Zoosk. The other comment that attempted to provide an email to contact is a scam.
When/if you get assistance DO NOT give out any information about payment. They don’t need you to re-verify payment info to cancel it.
There are a lot of scammers here but this isn't one. Not all companies here are "official responses" because some companies are too cheap to pay this website to be "official".
The word Zoosk was starred for the email address because this site does not like the public sharing of private information. Let's just ignore the fact you can send this company an email directly from their own website by clicking on Contact US.
Then the Zoosk employee disguised as guest’s comment should be banned for circumventing the required procedure for commenting as a company representative.

Check the website you are on, kiddo It's a PUBLIC CONSUMER WEBSITE that has seen millions of complaints since it's conception in 2008(9). If I work at every company I make a response to, I work for literally THOUSANDS of companies because I have been at this site off and on since day one.

You aren’t Zoosk so quit your scam. The few companies that choose to respond here do so officially. Not as a “guest”.
Not true! To have an "Official Response", the company must pay for that privilege and some will not will pay and so some of them have a response labeled as "guest".
The starred out word you are so suspicious of is simply Zoosk.
Having said that, there scammers on this site, so one does have to be aware. If you go to this company's actual website, you can click on Contact Us and send them an email that way.
Sorry. If Zoosk can pay for ad campaigns and television commercials in addition to the wage paid to whoever did not identify themselves by name (in the comment or the user ID) here and not pay for a membership they lose all credibility.

Also, I sent you this post using the email you are providing me in this thread, so again if you are serious about helping your customers then go to the MULTIPLE. Emails and forms I submitted on your official website and respond and resolve this issue.
